I always thought that "Greenland" was an early example of false advertizing in the attempt to make people move there :-) But seriously, at the right time of the year parts of Greenland can still be very green. The vegetation has to make the most of the short season. Most of the trees are gone both on Greenland and Iceland, but that was because the vikings used them without planting new ones. DagT
