I've shot some older lenses that were actually pretty good
even though they were cheapies.  The Sears 80-200/4 is my
favorite example in that arena.  Decent sharpness and contrast
for < 1/2 the price of the A70-210/4.  And with most my
color prints @ 4x6, I didn't really care.

WRT your lens, shoot with it & see if you're satisfied.
It may be good, bad, in between, or just good enough for you.
