OK, Fast, Wide, Small, Sharp, and Cheap .... hmmm, sounds like an ex
girlfriend.

Look, I'm not an idiot, I know that some of the characteristics I'd like
may not be currently available, but if I don't ask I won't find out
anything. And, of course, such discussions often generate other ideas and
solutions. But, getting back to Fast, Wide, and Small, Olympus made a
21/2.0 that, at the time, was the fastest, widest lens of its type, and it
took a 55mm filter. In fact, when this project was first discussed a few
years ago, I almost bought the lens and an Oly, but the project was
shelved. Anyway, fast, wide, and small can, indeed, exist.

Since you don't have a clue as to what the project is, your suggestions,
while appreciated for their good intentions, don't really mean much. The
project will be done on Tri-X. End of discussion about film choice.
Forget about it is NOT an option.
