Pop Quiz:
1) Do you actually worry about the dirt level in your cameras?
* Yes * no *no
2) When you clean your camera, what parts do you clean?
* Outside with a soft cloth (dry) including outside if the lenses, front and back elements only if needed and the eyepiece, often
* rear lcd plus a quick blow in the lens throat once a week or so. sensor
cleaning maybe once a month or if bad.
*I don't recall the last time I cleaned a camera.
3) How much do you think it helps?
* Well with the eyepiece clean I can now see...:)
*probably not at all.
*Evidentally, not much, since it isn't something I do.
