Absolutely as found, sharpened if anything, the shooting distance was probably 10-15m, so at a shooting distance of 12.5m @ f7.1 DOF is only around 50cm.

I was just thinking that the DOF must be shallow, if it's a 200mm lens, yet the way the subject just looks picked out of her surroundings, and seemingly all of her was in focus...sort of belies the chart figures of a 2" DOF...


The more that's brought up about this image, the more interesting it becomes!

Perspective appears compressed too of course. The A200/2.8 is a really really nice lens :-)

Lovely subject--the camera, that is. It was my first camera.... Brings back memories.

I have my late uncles SRT303 and Rokkor 58/1.2 lens, nice kit, pity I don't shoot much film 35mm these days :-(
