We visited Prague a couple years ago, and I was very disappointed with it. It's too perfect looking! I felt like I was in Epcott! Warsaw is just as bad, no, worse... They were forced to rebuild their "old town" after WWII, and it looks really fake. :-) Now, Krakow, on the other hand, just oozes of age. I'll have to post some images I have somewhere. They aren't much, but I've got some things...

I realized only after I sent the above that it could come across wrongly. I don't want you to think I didn't like Prague. In fact, we want to get back there sometime. We had all of 11 hours to spend in the city, which meant we could only visit a few places, so we chose the main places, based on a tour book before we even left home. This meant, of course, that we visited all the tourist-centric places. I expected, however, to see an old city, but found it very well kept, especially considering the floods that had occurred only a few months before our visit. I was amazed at the number of tourists, however, especially at the clock when it struck the hour. I couldn't even get a good photo due to the push of the crowd. :-(

There is some great food, however! Next time, we will make time to get off the beaten paths, where all the tourists go, and do some real exploring. :-) Sorry, if I made it sound like I didn't really like Prague. Bad sense of humor. :-(
