That would be weird because FA*24/2 has molded plastic AL too, but doesn't seem to have any aging issue thus far. The only Pentax with glass AL seems to be the original K15/3.5, and the FA31/1.8.
AFAIK, the FA 35 mm. 2.0 has a glass molded aspheric element.
