Hi Shel,
I've never seen a Lenspen constructed of anything but black plastic. I have a
new one still in its original packaging in front of me at the moment, on the
packet it reads "LENSPEN is a registered trademark of Parkside Optical,
Inc, Vancouver, BC, Canada", the importer is Gentec International in Ontario
and their web address is http://www.gentec-intl.com
I haven't tried the URL yet but hopefully there will be some pertinent
information there. Good luck in the search, it's a handy bit of kit, you won't
regret the Maglite purchase either.
