Hi, Shel.  I'd say that the bokeh in the photo of your "catbox" (not
what I usually picture when I visualize a "catbox", i.e., a
"litterbox" - <g>) is somewhat like the bokeh in my
http://www.cetussoft.com/pentax/k105f28/105ndl56.jpg .

Maybe I just had a bad sample? - I don't know - it was a very sharp
lens, with lots of contrast.  Nonetheless, I almost never have had a
lens which such a fast "turn-around time" (the time from getting it
to getting rid of it).  All of my 85's and 135's had better bokeh,
and all of my 100-ish (90mm to 105mm) macro lenses were similar to
the K 105/2.8 or better.
