If anyone hoped to share cards with *me* on a regular basis, I'd have to get more! I need more anyway (see the Christmas wish list thread.) I don't know how many cards Juan's girlfriend already has for her Optio, but to share my own experience of going from 5 mp Optio to DSLR, I would have liked the option of using the SD cards I *already had* when I moved to the *ist D; although I would eventually still have needed more (and bigger) cards, it would have meant spending less money right away to get started with the *ist D. It's just one more point he could try to use, anyway, if she has a significant investment in the SD cards. ERNR
