I see what you mean. It's still a great picture, though. When shooting with
focal length this long at f5.6, I guess the margins of error have got to be
very small.

Here's an example of what I mean, shot with FA*400/5.6.

I focused on the eye, but as you can see, the eye is at the very back
of acceptable focus, while the entire beak is sharp. I wouldn't mind
the camera to select a slightly more forward point of focus.
