Congrats on the E36. Just keep 'em maintained and they last forever. I have had an 1990 E30 Touring since it was 3 years old. Sadly only the glacially slow and steady 318i. However, just coming up to 170K miles and the mech guys tell me 200K is no problem (*) I could buy a new(er) car, but I have this sort of stubborn streak - whilst this one is going fine, why bother? Wouldn't mind a nice 911 for weekends tho (S, SC, 3.2 Carrera, I don't care!). (*) This might not sound a lot to people on continental landmasses, but trust me it's not bad in the UK for a privately-owned car with an 1800cc engine. The rust usually gets cars first here! Chris
