I'm only here off and on lately, and only shooting my screwmount
bodies occasionally, but I guess I do both enough to count as
"here and using that kind of gear". I mostly shoot manual-focus
K-mount (and a bit of autofocus, on a PZ-10), but I still enjoy
the simplicity, the uncluttered and undistracting viewfinder,
and the pure tactile _sensual_pleasure_ of the precision feel
of the mechanism of the S1a and the H3. If I had a handheld
meter, I'd use those bodies more often.

(When I'm shooting one of the pre-Spotmatic screwmounts, can't
use the sunny-16 rule and don't feel confident guesstimating, I
use one of the K-mount bodies as a meter ... but if I'm going to
be walking around and only carrying a camera Just In Case, then
carrying a K-mount body makes the screwmount body superfluous.
If I need two bodies, or three, I usually pick all the same
lens mount for convenience. So the screwmount bodies come out
when I want to have more bodies on hand at once than the number
of K-mount cameras I own ... or when the pent-up desire to
experience that special pleasure of shooting an H3 becomes too
great to ignore.

Spotmatics are fun too (and hey, that meter sure is convenient),
but I have a special fondness for the earlier bodies.

Most of the list has heard me say all ofthis before. Nifty to
have an excuse to babble about it some more. ;-)
