Since posting the original request, the photo's been dated to around the mid-twenties by several sources that do such things, including the Coordinator of Visual References at the Indiana Historical Society, an 82yo woman who compared her family photos to this one, and an expert on vintage clothing in NYC, and who was there at the time. While these are educated estimates, they are very educated estimates., and there's always some wiggle-room. Based on another photo I have from that is known to be from 1924, mid-twenties seems about right for this one. Thanks for jumping in ... I'm now trying to narrow it down even more by contacting certain family members who may know something more about the details of the photo.
