None of us bother to ask Kevin what he needs it for. For testing his
electric system in his car, or what?
The problem is that falshes arent powerfull at such high speeds. Perhaps he
needs some kind of a strobescope.

Electric spark photography anyone? I have an article on it (for
precisely that and even shorter durations, with all the calculations
et cetera) in my old Focal Press photography encyclopaedia.
Unfortunately, it's a 20-volume set so it's stuffed right in the
cellar and not even under my flat...

Try to search for it on the web though. It's the method for creating
the usually extremely boring images of bullets speeding trough red
apples and similar.

Good light!
