It's great that they are taking your problem seriously but I guess it will be up to you now to simply demand another body should the problem re-occur. Regarding the statement from the Pentax service personal above, I'm very very dubious as to this type of claim. If it were so the quality of USB cables connected between the camera and PC or card reader and PC could also affect pics.
