I've heard of all those problems with the 530's except being prone to rust. Tell me more. In South Africa BM's are pretty cheap to fix, the one factory is about 70km's away from me...
The rust was pretty much the entire undercarriage and the quarter panels, especially just behind the back doors.
Oh yes, and one other major problem was a flexible fuel line that went over the exhaust system, and was prone to rock damage.
When it ruptures, the fuel hits the hot exhaust pipe and catches fire.
At least thats what happened to mine.
