I'm with Dave.

First one works much better for me than the second.  It (the second)
just seems very - I don't know - cliche?  Maybe it's because it's
taken from behind the subject;  looks too ordinary.

The first, OTOH, seems to have a more voyeuristic feel to it, maybe
'cause we can see his face a bit.  I like it!
