Joe,

Get her a lanyard.  I put my daughter's S4 on a leftover lanyard from
a thumb drive.  It's great for keeping the camera on hand in a shirt
pocket.

I played with my daughter's for a day before I sent it on to her.  
It was hard to let it go.
