I went out this morning to find a small digital camera that I could toss into the truck as a quick snapshot camera.
Of course, my initial desire was to by a Pentax, but there are so many choices out there right now.
I wanted something small, so I looked at an Optio SV, which is 5 megapixies and has a 5x optical zoom.
Too small, though.
While it fits a shirt pocket very nicely, I found that it tended to get lost in my hands.
I ended up with an Optio 750, which, while substantially larger, is still less clunky than my old Canon G1 was.
The battery is charging as I type.

It looks like a pretty cool little camera.
Something to note though, although it is touted as a 7mp camera, if you want to shoot 2:3 aspect ratio for standard 4x6 reprints, it is essentially a 6mp camera.
