To add to that: there is not, at present, any announced plan for a new version of the DNG converter that can handle *ist-DS RAW files (although I'm sure Adobe will get around to releasing one eventually; if not because of the *ist-DS, then because of the other new cameras that are only supported in Camera Raw 2.4)
