        I suspect that you are just observing variations from each
        lens' actual light transmission (t stop) and the effect of
        narrowing focal length "zero-ing in" on a smaller and less
        widely varied in brightness framing. Also, your camera may
        only *display* finite half stops & full stops.

        I'd leave the lenses alone and trust the meter unless very
        drastic exposure problems (other than compensatable scene 
        brightness variations) occur.
