Don't take this the wrong way, but in digital, it's garbage in/ garbage out.


I have one guy who insists on sending me Nikon sRGB profiled images.
They do not match sRGB, and he doesn't get good work back.
Dark, flat and lifeless is what he gets, and then he yips about it.

If you want good results from a digital lab, you HAVE TO profile your files to their equipment.

If you are enjoying taking on the entire process, including that of being a photo lab, and the cost per print is acceptable, then keep on doing what you are doing.
