The optical bundle doesn't behave this way, it transforms one surface area
linearly to a new surface area. And due to the fact that it is a multi-fibre
device it actually alleviates colour smear problems as it effectively
collimates the rays before they hit the sensor.
Isn't that how the NPC backs work?
