I think you mean "gentleman of good taste and discernment" :-)  I'm
used to thinking of Fortnum's as a tea supplier;  I often used to
buy tea there (or around the corner when Jacksons was of Piccadilly).

There again, what am I supposed to do?   I can't get either Fortnum's
or Jackson's locally, and mail order adds quite a bit to the cost.
Meanwhile I can buy Ahmad teas out here in the middle-eastern markets
for anywhere from $4.99 to $7.99 for a 1lb tin, depending on variety.

We've even found some rather nice tea infusers.  I was sceptical at
first - I rather doubted there would be all that difference between
a standard tea ball and these ones (somewhat larger, shaped like two
truncated cones stuck base-to-base, and with fewer and smaller holes).
After one blind test, though, count me among the true believers.
