Yes 1 Added modeling lights to a cheap ring flash to avoid flash reflections on the surface of water. 2 Double headed flash. Now on version 2. The first was made from an AF240 the second from an AF360. It cuts down on the weight and more importantly the bulk of equipment being carried and still allows me to light a subject with 2 flashes. 3 Modified the mount of my Auto Bellows A to tell the camera it is actually a lens with the aperture ring set to A. This lets me use P-TTL flash through my bellows. > 3) regarding 1 and 2) Do you still use that self-made "thing" and could > you > show us a photo or plan and tell us about > the parts you used, the cost and what else may be interesting? I still use my double headed flash and the bellows on the *istD. I sold the cheap ring flash with the modelling lights. I can show pictures and give a commentary if anyone is interested, though I'm not pulling the AF360 apart unless I really have to - there is not a lot of spare room inside there. > 4) What was the reason you made this accessory yourself: > - there was no part like this buyable > - I needed special adjustments For the bellows it was the only way to get P-TTL on the bellows and I like P-TTL. For the flashes it just makes things more convenient. > 5) What was the profit of your work? Added flexibilty in taking pictures. Leon http://www.bluering.org.au http://www.bluering.org.au/leon
