Luigi,
Just using plan old Windows 2000.
Hmm, if you have the time, can you explain what gcc is? Does this advice still apply if I am
using Windows?
Yep, I am not especially savy with computers.

Hi,
Anyone here know much about how to install a Gimp Plug-In? I went to their official site, picked the download option for the redeye plug-in, and I get a text version of the program. Does the same thing for other plug-ins.
Dave
you'll need gcc and make to compile those files.
I haven't been brave enough to compile my own stuff from
source. You could try looking/asking around if there are RPMs available for the
stuff that you need.
what flavour Linux are you running?

I can understand why mankind hasn't given up war. During a war you get to drive tanks through the sides of buildings and shoot foreigners - two things that are usually frowned on during peacetime.
