Keith,
The glass was a double thick insulated door wall.
The metering was matrix.
I was at the long end of the lens capability.
I never thought about the issue of focusing thru glass, (I was more
concerned with the image degradation due to the glass), but focus thru glass
doesn't appear to be an issue with the Optio S.
This was obviously not the equipment I would normally have used (MZ-S, *ist
D etc), but the Optio at least let me record the event - the best red tail
hawk image I have!
