Hi Steve I can recommend signing up with www.Flickr.com It's free (for a certain, limited upload each month), it's very easy and it's brilliant. For instance it has a slide slow option. It's has a free download-software option. Check it out!
Also there's www.fotopic.net shich gives you 250 Mb of free space!
