poor to worse in a lot of cases. OTOH, an A* 400/2.8 with the monocular converter K does a decent job, and if the light is good enough, using the 2X-L adapter makes for pretty high magnification. looking through the eyepiece does give a real 4000mm spotting scope. i suppose i could attach a P&S digicam to that. the distortion in the monocular converter is pretty high though.
