Camera club mentality. You want to win camera club competitions you have to do 
"pretty pictures". Trite formulaic cliches, your photo has to be more "ordinary" 
than anyone elses to win. The only good thing is it has to be a supurbly printed 
trite formulic cliche. Many of us "old heads" have mentioned this in the past. 
It probably will never change.
