Great. The foreground detail is especially telling.

Beautiful shot. The foreground detail is great. I've been wondering if I should
get the 14/2.8 or wait for a 15/3.5. This is certainly strong evidence in favor
of the latter. Paul

Thanks Paul, it's a great piece of coast line, IOW it's hard to make a mess of
photographically :-)

I'm really pleased with the performance of the A15/3.5 even wide open and all
the images I've seen from the DA14 haven't convinced me that it has any
advantage beyond size and weight.

The following two crops are 1:1 from the file straight out of the PS CS RAW
convertor (4096x2734px), crop1 is the detail in the background right to the the
right edge of the frame and the second is a crop in the bottom LH corner.

The geometric correction I do is to negate the slight barrel and edge moustache
distortion inherent in the lens (the samples above are before this step but are
still quite good)
