The mailman got me a present today. When I opened it, I found a K f1.2 50mm lens and a Zenit 16mm fisheye.
Woo! Hoo! Bought them from a list member who shall remain nameless (discretion is my middle name). Frank's a happy boy tonight. Both lenses are mintish. Tried them on the MX, and they look real pretty. The Pentax lens is noticeable smoother clicking on and off, but I guess that's to be expected. I'm amazed at the difference the extra stop (or whatever it is) makes for low light stuff. That's going to be a great deal of fun loaded with Neopan 1600 pushed a stop. The fisheye is going to be lots of fun, too, but realisitically, I can't see myself using it all that much - it'll be more of a toy than a serious lens. Until I figure out how to get the most out of it, that is. This coming weekend will be a fun one! cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson
