Thanks for the info.

I says it's an SP not an SP2, though oddly this one DOES have 1000
marked on the speed capacity and a self timer? It pretty odd actually
because I have all the user guides for these and mine looks more like
an SP2 but says it's an SP...

Go figure...

The lens isn't yellow but there is a little black spot or two on it
that I am dearly hoping isn't the dreaded "mold" so often mentioned on
the sites for this camera. Tried cleaning it though with a lens cloth,
and it's still there so I'm thinking it might be...NICE lens otherwise
though. I may try a solution of some kind if I can figure it out...or
take it to Looking Glass Photo in Berkeley to see what they can do
with it...

Playing, I put the 135 MM Olympus lens from my Ricoh on just to see
what it would be like and I was impressed with it more on the Pentax.
I seemed to be able to get a sharpper focus, but then again I have no
clue as to what I am doing as this is my first real foray into a non
digital non point and shoot camera setup.

I got the Yashica and the Ricoh and the 135MM lens as a gift. Then
found the Pentax....I think thus far I must have very good camera
Karma as all 3 are reputed to be excellent cameras.

I can't wait to try them out, but I don't feel too competent yet....

Need to read some books, take a class.

I have the "eye" of a photographer, or so I am told, but not the skills..

I can post some of the shots I've been doing with my Fuji s7000 (My
baby. LOVE that camera...) if you like, but I'm not efficent enough
with film cameras to want to waste film as yet...

Maybe after a semester at City College...

:)
