Like DougF I've enjoyed working in the tech industry for over 20 years. Fun
field. Most of the time.

The biggest issue I've had with HTML emails is not the reception of a virus,
worm, or other questionable item. (Fortunately my ISP resolves those matters
for me.) Rather,
spammers use the external HTML references to identify who is hitting their
server. This lets them verify your email indirectly. And all you have to do
is preview the email for that HTML link to give them the needed information.
So once they think they know you, they do.

I use Eudora on Win2K.

Sincerely,

C. Brendemuehl
