I just got back a roll of Fuji Press 1600 I had developed and printed. It
is grainy. I haven't decided if it is worse than Fuji Press 800 exposed at
1600, I'd have to find the roll I did that to for comparison. Suffice to
say, I won't stop using Fuji Press 800 for some time to come. I find Fuji
Press 800 to give excellent results, even in less than optimum conditions.
Where normally I'd expect grain from underexposure there is a distinct lack
of it.
