Thanks Frank. Although I must say that it probably scores zero on
originality- there was practically a swarm of shutterbugs eagerly waiting
their turn at the spot I took the shot. Another interesting thing is I took
the shot handheld at 1/4! So that's what the Canon folk are raving about.
Here's hoping the Pentax band go the Konica Minolta way..
Oh god I hope not! I've been playing with a Maxxum 7D at work for weeks now, and am very disappointed with it. The Anti-Shake doesn't perform as nearly as well as the same system on the DiMage A2, and the images I get, even when the camera is on a tripod... well, they suck. Rather soft, too dark, etc., even with a variety of lenses. I'm not sure if I have a defective camera, but I'm going to keep playing with it a while longer.
Anyway, I hope Pentax doesn't go this way unless they come up with a better system.
