Some technical information.
Camera Pentax *ist-D ISO 400 125/sec. (RAW) Lens Vivitar 35-85mm f2.8 at f5.6 Built in flash. . Converted to Jpeg in Photoshop 5.5. (Yes I know I'm a dinosaur...)
The only thing I find disturbing is the highlights around his eye.

I can understand why mankind hasn't given up war. During a war you get to drive tanks through the sides of buildings and shoot foreigners - two things that are usually frowned on during peacetime.
