How low do you need? I was shooting last night with an F50/f1.7 on my *ist-D, ISO 800, recommended epxosure 1/[EMAIL PROTECTED], and autofocus was fast, responsive, and accurate. I lost several shots because of motion of the subjects, and several more because of camera shake, but none caused by AF problems. I filled 1GB with RAW images, so that's around 70 shots in total.
