I once was an indistrial designer. So I just made drawings of a sort of
lumiquest diffuser.
Transferred the drawing on to a piece of white card bord and made on my self
a cheap diffuser. Cost: app. 3$.
I use Welcro tape and broad, black rubber tape to mount it on one of ny Metz
45 CT flashes. I have (snail)mailed the drawings to Frantisek a couple of
years ago. He actually promissed to post these somewhere on the internet,
but never did, I guess. (Are you listening, Frantisek?)

Emne: $3.00 Super Flash Diffuser!

Getting a little tired of all the $35.00-$100.00 gizmos out
there to soften flash, most of which don't seem to do much,
I started playing around with some "Houshold Goods".
Here's what I came up with:
http://www.donsauction.com/pdml/FlashTest/Diffuser.htm

2-$1.50 "Snack Tray" lids nested together.

A little white poster board for sides and to increase output,
a simple way to mount the thing to a stand and I'm all set.

I have some nice round bowls with the same type of lid
(translucent white polyethylene)
that I'm going to make a smaller, portable field unit out of.
Should just be able to cut a rectangular hole in the bottom
for the flash and Presto! :-)
