I was always amused by the I Ching calculator which could do any
mathematical equation as long as the answer was lower than four;
anything above that, however, and it gave you the answer "A suffusion of
yellow". I spent several weeks in high school trying to force my
programmable scientific calculator to behave in this fashion, with
limited success.
