This is far more info than I need... <vbg> Seriously, a month or two ago, there was something about the way the light was hitting my roomate's electric toothbrush in the bathroom. Grabbed a camera and took a few shots. One may end up a PAW one day - I think they actually look pretty cool! <g> Your advice about always having a camera with you wherever you go is terrific! If anyone remembers one of my "Memorable Quotes of 2004" compiled by Mark Roberts, one of them was something like "you need a camera with you to take a photograph". That was in response to a thread wherin the initial poster asked everyone for their number one photographic rule - if you had to distill everything you know into one rule, or, what you thought the most important rule in photography is. My thought was that if you don't have a camera with you, you can't take a photo. The other thing about always having a camera, is that eventually, everyone knows that you always have a camera. They aren't intimidated by it. They become comfortable seeing you with it. I've gotten more shots of friends and acquaintances in various social situations, because no one minds that I'm taking their photo. In fact, if I don't have my camera with me, people ask where it is! Some days, I walk around and don't take a photo. Other days, I take several rolls. At least I know I won't miss anything that comes along... cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson
