It's all Herb's fault. He was going to B&H tonight so he wanted to meet there so he could sell me a filter. I had to go there to outfit the FA 300mm, and while I was there I figured I'd buy the Tamron since I was going to do it soon anyway, plus there's a $40 rebate on it now.
Anyway, I just did some test shots with the Tamron and it looks like I got a good copy. I'll know for sure by Saturday when I get to do some daylight shooting. Herb and I had a good mini-NYPDML meeting. I got to check out his new FA 77mm limited. I will post shots from the Tamron as soon as I have something worth showing. Amita
