I really could re-crop it.. I merely did such a tight crop to keep it
"square" but I can always revisit it.

And yes, I agree with you on the XP2 - next roll into the K1000 will be
some old school HP5+ :)

An interesting take on a simple, everyday subject.  I'd like to see a
little more space to the (viewer's) left of the cup, not quite so tight a
crop, if only for comparison purposes.  Don't know if it would help the pic
or not.  The "toning" helps  a bit to mask the ugliness of the Ilford film.
XP2 is one of my photographic pet peeves ... anyway, it's a nice creative
approach to a simple, straightforward subject.  The photo has a nice feel
to it.
