Under the building was a parking lot and a service shaft, with a grate that spewed lovely warm air in the winter. We called it "Florida". It was where we went to smoke (all manner of things) in wintertime, as it was dry and warm. At our school, "Let's go down to Florida" had the same meaning as 420.
