Hello Joe
Why does the viewfinder look like this?

Emne: FS: Gorgeous Honeywell Pentax ES black body

This is the near-mint or better ES black body I picked up on eBay a
few months ago; due to some recent purchases and the fact that I
already have an ESII, I'm looking to see if this ES can find a home
on the list where it will be used more often than I'm likely to be
able to use it.

I really couldn't tell this camera from new when it arrived. The one
sign of age was that the foam strip above the mirror had become
sticky and had begun to come apart; a small piece of foam had come
off and had stuck to the edge of the mirror. I brought the camera to
my repair guy, who removed the old foam strip, cleaned the piece off
the mirror, and put a new mirror foam strip in place. That's all I
had done to this ES, which seems to be in perfect operating shape.
All controls have that tight, new feel to them -- I could easily
believe this camera would have looked and felt this way new, out of
the box, in 1972.

I'll include the ES case, which is also in like new condition, though
it could probably use some leather conditioning cream to keep it
supple. It will ship with a body cap, though I'll provide that and it
probably won't be original Pentax. The camera has an alkaline 6V
battery in now, but I'll include a silver oxide and a lithium version
of the correct battery as well, which should keep this camera going
for years. I don't have the proper camera strap with this body -- I
will include a generic one if you need one.

Take a look at the photos -- I couldn't keep specks of dust from
showing up on the body, as I've used the camera a bit, but there is
absolutely no wear, no brassing, no significant marking of any kind
that I can see, not on the baseplate or by the strap lugs, or
anywhere. I even got a shot through the viewfinder (or most of it);
again, no specks of any kind.

Some of these photos show a lens mounted; I can add a lens if you
want, but this listing is primarily for the camera body.

KEH sells ES and ESII black bodies in EX+ condition for nearly $400
... I'll ask just $200 for this body/case/batteries.
