When I lived in London, my basic transport was a pink-and-black MBK womens' 
bike, which I christened "Bekah":

when he visited me in the summer of '03).  Bekah was reliable, faithful, and 
totally theft-proof, and she's presently carrying another graduate student to 
and from lectures.

I don't ride nearly as much as I should, though.  I'm also beginning to think 
about combining the cycling and the photography.  The trouble with the 
digicams is that I'm constantly scared of breaking them:  I have no such 
worries with the MX.  Anyone have any suggestions on carrying an SLR rig on a 
road bicycle?
