I use the Nikon software to import images from CF cards, and during
import, use the IPTC info to add only a few things. I usually add at
least one keyword, location, my name and � info (for kicks) and a
caption/description. You don't need to add everything--just whatever
you want is sufficient. Other software also allows batch processing,
but all I've found is for Windows--nothing for Mac.  I just recently
discovered the IPTC feature, and wish I had known about it from the
start. I also wish there was a simple way to access this from the
Finder, and even to search on these fields. iView Media allows for it,
but I can't do it from the Finder, which, IMO, would be ideal. It's
pretty handy to have, btw, even if you don't use everything, and even
if you don't use it now, to have it for future reference cannot hurt.
