Surprisingly, not at all, provided of course the weather isn't too bad. I still can't figure out why the Novoflex (even with converter) is easier to focus than my 600/8 Sigma mirror lens. I'm not just talking about the rapidity of focus... even when I'm shooting the proverbial sitting duck the mirror lens just projects a darker image on the focusing screen compared to the "rocket launcher".
Of course, both don't work very well with screens that incorporate any focusing aids.
