I remember seeing *istD benchmarks of compact flash card read performance a while back but I didn't save the reference. I'm thinking of getting either a Lexmark 80x card with Write Acceleration or a SanDisk Ultra or Extreme. I would like suggestions on what will give the best performance. I'm using a SanDisk standard 1GB card now and tired of waiting for the buffer to flush after a several shots in quick succession.
My regular Sandisks are about as fast as my Lexar 40x.
I don't know if this means the Sandisk is a 40x card, or if the istD is the limiting factor in write times.
